Connor Bollum

Connor Bollum is a junior at Iowa State University studying agricultural business from Austin, Minnesota. He is the oldest of three kids and an avid lover of all things Spam.

At Iowa State, Connor is involved with the Agricultural Business Club, Agricultural Marketing and Management Organization (AMMO), and is a member of the Start Something College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Student Leadership Team. He has experienced two great internships thus far in his college career, working as a quality control intern at Quality Pork Producers and as a commodity broker intern at a commodity brokerage firm in Southwest Iowa.

We are excited to have Connor serve as one of our student leaders and look forward to sharing his leadership skills and (occasional) sense of humor with all of you. (Just teasing, Connor!)

When asked why he decided to become involved with our program, Connor responded, “I became involved with Start Something CALS because I believe that going to college is about meeting people from different places with different ideas and learning new things. Start Something CALS helps me see what others are doing innovation-wise and motivates me to do the same.”
