NAMA provides a hands-on marketing and communications experience for students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
Members have the opportunity to participate in the Iowa State NAMA club or marketing team. There are many opportunities to network with industry professionals through meetings and events with the Iowa NAMA Professional chapter.
The Iowa State NAMA marketing team is comprised of students interested in advancing their knowledge of agri-business marketing. Each year, the selected team researches a new agriculture product, develops a comprehensive marketing plan for it, and presents the plan to multiple panels of industry judges at the National NAMA Student Marketing Competition. This event takes place in various cities around the U.S. including Kansas City, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Dallas.
